About Puja Jain

With over 25 years of experience in corporate legal, I am a qualified company secretary and a law graduate who currently serves as the Group Company Secretary and Legal at G4S India, an Allied Universal® Company. My role involves performing as the Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel for the Indian Group, which has diverse business verticals and management controls. I also head the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) function for the Group. My core competencies include advising and executing the whole gamut of corporate governance, compliance management, capital issues, contract management, insurance management, employee welfare schemes, start-ups, inward and outward investments, FEMA regulations, FDI policy governance, and lease management. I have also participated in strategic decisions in corporate structuring, re-organizations, acquisitions, take-overs, joint ventures, and related transactions. As a corporate lawyer, I have extensive experience in briefing to legal counsels, consultants, and drafting briefs, opinions on various matters. I work closely with the country manager and the heads of business units in providing strategic and operational legal advice based on an in-depth understanding of the security services businesses, in particular, providing regulatory, compliance, and general commercial advice. I effectively collaborate with international colleagues to address local concerns. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance, legal compliance, and business ethics for the Group.
