About Puja Sharma

I am a graduate with a Masters in Computer Science with research in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Windsor and have expanded my knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, Python, Angular, MVC framework, dotnet and object-oriented programming. Through my current teaching assistantship, I have developed a keen interest in teaching programming to others. While assisting students in understanding the relationship between the correctness of their ideas and implementation, I have increased my knowledge of algorithm design. This experience, in turn, built my understanding of imperative concepts. Being passionate about technology and having 2 years of experience as a Software developer with a multi-national company, “Willis Towers Watson,” I have gained excellent knowledge about object-oriented programming and practical exposure to the application of various frameworks used in developing a website. I have worked on projects like “Fake Product Review Detection,” which aimed to detect fake reviews on Amazon using the review text. The approach combined semi-supervised learning and transformer models to identify fake Amazon reviews. It used python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and sci-kit-learn and performed analysis using the BERT model. In addition, I have also worked on projects using the R-programming language to predict what kind of movies are victorious and showed the analysis results intuitively by visualizing outcomes using ggplot2. In addition to the skills mentioned above, I possess several applicable attributes and strengths. Specifically, I have strong negotiating and communication skills, making me a team player. During my previous job, I was entitled as a consistent learner, and this attitude made me fit and prepared for any upcoming obstacles. I have worked on multiple projects simultaneously, proving my ability to adapt to the environment and situations. My knowledge and experience as a MERN stack developer and my skills will bring a change and add quality value to the organization I work with.
