About Pulkit Arora

Hi, I am a graduate student pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa. I have gained a solid foundation in web development and software engineering principles, I have honed my skills in various backend and frontend frameworks, as well as cloud technologies. I also have experience designing REST APIs and using Git for version control. I have worked extensively with object-oriented programming, microservices architecture and event-driven architecture. I have a strong understanding of the SDLC and have experience working through its various stages, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. I am well-versed in building scalable and efficient systems that meet the needs of users and stakeholders. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), which ensures the reliability and robustness of the software I develop. In addition to my professional responsibilities, I pursued certifications in cloud and DevOps to expand my understanding of post-development phases. I actively engage in hands-on lab work on the AWS cloud whenever possible. I am always eager to learn and grow. Apart from my project work, I regularly engage in professional development activities. This includes taking online courses to stay updated with the latest technological trends, participating in coding challenges, and contributing to open-source projects. I am currently looking for a full time opportunity. Thanks!
