Puneet Handa is a Senior Vice President at Rakuten Mobile - Portfolio and Strategy office, leading large teams that deliver Business Process Excellence, Technology Programs, Platform Architecture Transformation and Financial Planning & Control for network division. Passionate business leader possessing strong people management, portfolio management, analytical and organizational skills with an ability to drive teams towards organization goals. Puneet brings in more than 15+ years of Telecommunication network Project Management, Process excellence & adoption experience specializing in Green Field Telecom Projects. He joined Rakuten Mobile in 2018 and has been responsible for many strategic initiatives internally. He conceptualized and established the Process Engineering Department which focuses on designing, implementing and optimizing end-to-end business processes for various departments within the Networks Division. He has played instrumental role in managing Rakuten Mobile’s 4G/5G network roll out, streamlining RAN operations, vendor management and people development. In the past, Puneet has held several executive positions across Telecom companies such as Nokia and AirSpan Networks where he has led and managed special projects related to 2G and 3G networks.
