ACCA qualified and currently working as Assistant Manager in EY.I majorly work on UK and Ireland clients for Technology, Media, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Information Technology sector. Responsible for work done by my junior team members, reviewing the work and providing technical guidance to them via classroom and on the job trainings on EYGAM (internal audit practice) and applicable accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP). People -Imparting class room trainings, and on the job training to new hires to enhance their understanding of audit principles- Imparting MS Excel training to ensure new hires are familiar with short-cuts and use of excel, thus ensuring high quality audit work papers-Building relationships with the clients and help in business development apart from performance of routine core audit work. Quality -Performing quality and detailed reviews to help onshore team to wrap up audit effectively and efficiently-Performing high level and complicated tasks as a member of extended team to be directly reviewed by onshore managers, thus helping them meet their expectations-Involved in the execution of different phases of the audit process including planning, substantive testing on balance sheet and P&L account, financial analysis, review and analysis of internal control compliance and presentation of audit findings to the management -Performing Journal Entry Testing on JE record -Reviewing financial statements-Was a part of XBRL team in 2011 and have knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS taxonomies.
