Currently, as a Resource Manager at MDRC, I coordinate and support multiple research projects, providing logistical, operational, and strategic management to research teams. I assist with pre-award proposal development, including budget creation, work plans, and coordinating with finance staff to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions. I also manage post-award project implementation, monitoring work plans, staffing, budgets, and expenditures to ensure projects remain within compliance and financial constraints. Serving as the primary liaison between project teams and internal departments, as well as external stakeholders like funders and third-party vendors, I play a critical role in project success. Additionally, I contribute to strategic planning, identify project risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and resource allocation across projects. Before this, I worked as a Program Officer at the International Republican Institute (IRI), where I oversaw the full life cycle of 10+ USG awards, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and timely communication with clients and donors. I managed USAID-funded programs, tracked budgets, and ensured that expenditures ranged from to $12.8 million were aligned with project goals. I’ve been passionate about promoting social and economic equity, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, where I have lived for several years. With strong communication skills and the ability to navigate diverse cultural and organizational contexts, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities involved in grassroots engagement, policy implementation, and project coordination. I am committed to generating impactful outcomes and overseeing the successful implementation of programs that drive systemic change.
