About Purti Singh

Transformer designer- self employed as an image consultant - officer at a bank. government, private, business - been there seen it all. Love green spaces, travel and reading. Creative, humorous, pro at converting lemons into lemonade :) I believe that a person can achieve absolutely anything that he sets his mind upto. Age, degree, etc have no say in front of a strong will and heartfelt purpose. I have worked in three fields starting as a transformer designer at GE, Team leader - core design at TBEA, switching to Image consulting and becoming a certified Image Consultant from ICBI, transforming lives and making a mark in the field and currently in the banking sector. Managing teams, negotiations, marketing, business development and taking up leadership roles and mentoring to bring out the best in people are some of the key skills I've developed through this journey. While I worked as an image consultant, I was passionate about helping people feel confident and have better self image. I also helped people explore and express their personal style through their clothes, manage their image and increase their self esteem to achieve their highest potential. Currently I'm working with SBI in a marketing role after being in operations for five years. Meeting business owners daily is interesting and over time, marketing has become a key skill and usp for me. The experience in image management has turned out to be a great foundation apart from the operations exposure in transformers and banking segment. Having worked in design, image management and finance, I have experienced firsthand that there is no constraint to human potential to work across various segments. Taking the leap, having faith in ability to work hard, planning well and implementing, having a strong purpose, all are things that can take a person in any direction he wishes to.
