I am a firm believer in lifelong learning which has been fueled by my curiosity, as well as the rapidly changing financial services industry where I have enjoyed progressive leadership roles. My credentials include MBA, Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering (CAMS) Specialist. In my role as Vice President, Transformation, Analytics & Governance at Wells Fargo, I continuously have opportunities to leverage my education and learn on the job. Problem solving and execution are core to my success. Collaborating across geographies and complex organizations, I lead high performing virtual teams who are motivated to deliver flawless implementations, enhanced sustainability and business excellence. My top career achievements include: • Established end to end risk management (with over twenty risk types) for the payment modernization program (E.g. Lynx and Real Time Real) initiated by Payment Canada. Assessed and enhanced the risk controls in twenty digital labs. • Led key components of the Canadian Banking Shared Services Transformation program (300MM portfolio) which enhanced the customer experience by driving process efficiency and leveraging technological advancements. This initiative won The Bank of Nova Scotia’s “Best of Best” award in 2017. • Spearheaded a multi-year global change program at CIBC to “Shorten the financial closing”. Delivered end to end reengineering of key finance processes which resulted in six days of savings in the closing process and substantial quality improvements. • Executed a major General Ledger finance system implementation at CIBC over two years.
