Qinglin is a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at UC San Diego, specializing in the development of lipid-coated nanoformulations for the delivery of siRNAs, small molecules, and peptides. Her research focuses on optimizing nanomaterial design, surface chemistry, and formulation strategies to enhance drug stability, targeting, and therapeutic efficacy. She has extensive experience in nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and biointerface engineering, complemented by expertise in in vitro and in vivo evaluation of nanoformulations. Beyond research, Qinglin has actively collaborated with interdisciplinary teams across institutions, honing her skills in scientific communication, project management, and cross-functional teamwork. Her passion for mentorship is evident through her teaching, tutoring, and mentoring experiences, where she has guided students in research and scientific writing. Additionally, she has developed strong research writing skills through the preparation of manuscripts, grant proposals, and technical reports. Qinglin is excited to apply her scientific expertise, problem-solving mindset, and leadership skills to innovative challenges in academia or the pharmaceutical industry.
