About Quace Evans

I love all things tech! Ever since I was a child, technology fascinated me. I would watch my older brother take apart hard drives and rewire motherboards for hours. That fascination is still alive and well! During my previous employment at Keesler Federal Credit Union, I often worked closely with the IT Department on numerous projects. On two separate occasions, I shadowed their entire department and got to see IT roles in action. I helped them set up well over 50 workstations. I even ran the Cat6 line, terminated each end, and plugged it into the patch panel and switch panel. I found that work so satisfying. I applied to join their team and aced the interview. However, there was one thing I didn't have. an IT Support Certification. Someone else that applied got that position all because they had one thing I didn't. Things are different now. I have just completed my Google IT Support Certification, picking up numerous skills along the way. Now nothing will get in the way of starting my career in the tech industry! My heart is burning with excitement seeing how close I am to turning this dream into a reality!
