About Quan Zhou

As a Software Developer at Surf, I apply my frontend web development expertise to create engaging and user-friendly web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and other frameworks and technologies. I have developed a commercial reward points browser extension app, collaborated with esteemed companies such as EA, HP, and Amazon Prime to create landing pages for giveaways campaigns, and built a user dashboard frontend, among other projects. These initiatives have enhanced marketing strategies, attracted customers, and generated significant revenue for the company and its partners. I have over four years of frontend development experience, working for start-up and enterprise environments. I graduated from Sheridan College with a Diploma in Computer System Technology - Systems Analyst. I am proficient in using Git and Agile methodologies, integrating with backend APIs, and writing automated tests. I am also a certified Frontend Developer (React) by HackerRank, and have completed courses on Git, GitHub, and React by IBM. I am passionate about learning new skills, solving complex problems, and delivering high-quality products. I enjoy mentoring and guiding my team members, and collaborating with stakeholders and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
