Hi and welcome to my profile! I am a results-focused school social worker and with 5+ years of experience working directly with students of all walks, whether in a high school setting, college, or community center. My background consists of leading academic and social development of students with disabilities. A large chunk of my experience was becoming proficient in writing individualized education plans, monitoring progress against the plans, and leading IEP meetings with parents, teachers, and the students. I am very hands-on with ensuring students are successful in their development - while providing individual and group counseling. as needed. I have experience in counseling, case management, research, and community outreach as well. I am passionate about utilizing empathy and advocacy to help students bridge the gap between their educational goals with their social/emotional goals.
