Hi there, I'm currently living my life long dream as a journalist. I didn't envision it would lead me to being a news producer, since I initially had my sights set on reporting. As fate would have it though, I fell in love with producing during my internship nine years ago and I haven't looked back since. As cliché as it sounds, you seriously never know what you will get with each new day, especially in a news room. I approach everyday with an open mind and an eagerness to catch viewers up with everything they need to know. I'm interested in telling the stories everyone is talking about, diving deep into the key issues that impact my community as well as bringing awareness to the problems that need solutions and giving a voice to the voiceless. I'm also a sucker for a tear jerker and the stories that make us all go I draw inspiration from observing what's happening in my city. I'm also a social media junkie, which is where I find new ideas and great stories. I'm just driven by this innate desire to always want to know more. My career has taken me across the Southeast from Florida to the Carolinas, with my current stop being at 11Alive in Atlanta. Over the last eight years, I've become a dynamic writer, decision maker, problem solver, enterprise journalist and creator. In the months and years to come, I'm looking to become even more of a super-producer!
