About Quentin Konie

What you do speaks so loudly that what you say I cannot hear” – Ralph Waldo Emerson I love being a husband and father of six. I love the outdoors and welcome new challenges. I grew up in a small town in Illinois and later, on a farm where we raised and bred the rare breed of dogs known as Tibetan Mastiffs. This is where I fell in love with dogs and learned a strong work ethic. I served just shy of 7 years in the military and travelled the world. I have been overseas to Amsterdam, Japan, South Korea, Ireland, Iraq, and Kuwait. In the summer of 2017, I completed and thru hiked the 1200-mile Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin. My work experience includes being a veteran of the United States Air Force and Army both active and National Guard where I learned leadership and followership skills. These skills would greatly impact my ability and success when I worked for an at risk Youth Military Academy known as Lincolns Challenge Academy. My warehouse experience includes being a Warehouse Specialist, Forklift Operator Swing Reach Operator, and Order Picker Operator. I have also been a delivery driver operating a straight flatbed truck with a Class B CDL with Air Brakes (no longer obtain this). I also was a driver for a waste management company.
