About Quentin Maillard

Hello and welcome. I've been working for ING since 2008 and became an IT Chapter Lead since 2018. While I originally started as a Java engineer, my current skillset is now focused on Front-End development. Over the years and following ING technological stack, I've been working with JQuery, AngularJS, Polymer and now currently with lit-html.(https://lit.dev/) As a Chapter Lead, half of my time is spent managing, providing support to my chapter members or recruiting new colleagues to join us in our effort to always improve our Front-End applications. On a personal point of view, I am very thriving when given a challenge and one of my strongest point is understanding how things actually work. I have an easy time communicating with other people and I'm able to explain a complex situation to less-technical people. I'm used to work under difficult circumstances (e.g. short deadlines, changing requirements.) and can handle stress just fine. Finally, I'm a very honest person who dare saying when things are going wrong and that'll do everything that's possible to make things move in the right direction once again. My mother language is French. I'm also able to fluently speak in Dutch and English. As hobby, I'm a passionate video game player while also doing some sport on the side to keep in shape. I'm doing some game development on the side but am still struggling to find the right concept for my dream game.
