About Quez Hunt

From a very young age, I have always had two very distinct passions: creativity and teaching. These two factors have been a driving force in the decisions I have made in both my personal and professional career. In one of my first official roles, I was tasked with devising and cultivating marketing strategies, community relationships, and events for a privately owned children’s playhouse. This was my first taste of marketing in a dual capacity: management and marketing. During this time, I also worked as a professional-level dancer and choreographer, instructing at both my hometown’s premier competition studio and multiple professional-level studios around the Metro Atlanta area. Recognizing that many of my competition students possessed immense talent but lacked the proper platform to be acknowledged in the mainstream entertainment realm ignited a fire in me to change that narrative. This prompted me to create the Iconz Choreographers Showcase, where I was able to partner professional-level choreographers and dancers with youth and non-professional talent, forming bridges and relationships to break barriers between the two. This showcase was successful for years, selling out our 500-seat venue and garnering corporate sponsorships from Century 21, the Dance 411 Kids Foundation, and others. As a result, many of our participants have been featured in tours, movies, and television. I continued to push the envelope by opening my own dance studio in conjunction with KIMYB Yoga. My passion for teaching continued into my professional career as I acquired a job in implementation at MINDBODY INC. This allowed me to further develop my skill set in instruction and project management. Things came full circle when I was offered a position as the Field Marketing Manager for the city of Atlanta. Creating and organizing B2B and B2C events allowed both of my passions to merge, which made for an amazing experience. Connecting with people face-to-face and delivering helpful information to large and small business owners resonated with my own personal experiences, reiterating my strong sense of empathy and motivation to provide the best content available to assist with business growth and outreach. A strong sense of community is key! Going forward, I hope to continue my mission of providing innovative ideas, groundbreaking events, and top industry-standard information to assist in building community and helping others reach their ultimate goals.
