I’m a nursing student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Loyola University Chicago, expected December 2026. I previously earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Chicago in Integrated Health Studies with a minor in Nutrition in May 2025. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in holistic health, patient care, and evidence-based practice as I prepare for a career in nursing.*I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Misericordia Heart of Mercy, where I provide compassionate, patient-centered care to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, I assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care, and communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary healthcare team while strengthening my organization, time management, and therapeutic communication skills.*Alongside my clinical experience, I bring proven leadership and management skills from my time with the UIC Student Activities Board. As President and Lead Chair for UIC Spark 2024, I oversaw executive board operations, facilitated weekly meetings, coordinated volunteers, and supported the planning and execution of large-scale events serving 1,400+ attendees. I also managed logistics, scheduling, and on-site operations to ensure safe, organized, and engaging campus programming.*Passionate about patient advocacy, leadership, and meaningful connection, I’m driven to combine clinical excellence with strong communication and teamwork. I’m excited to continue growing as a future nurse while making a positive impact in both healthcare and professional spaces.
