About Quincy Leon

Eight years after starting at Weill Cornell as a fellowship coordinator, I decided to go back to school. My mentor and dear friend encouraged me to "gain the science" behind the skills that I acquired throughout my time at Cornell. I started the higher education administration program at Barch college in the spring of 2020 and mustered through online learning and asynchronous curriculums. I am expected to graduate in December of 2022. I have since moved into a larger position as program coordinator of the pediatric residency program at Weill Cornell. The residency program has 61 residents, two chief residents, and five program directors. As part of the leadship team, I am responsible for providing administrative support as well as ensuring that our program meets all ACGME requirements and maintains a high standard of education quality. I am currently interested in developing a wellness and leadership curriculum within the residency training program in hopes to improve morale and encourage current trainees to become leaders in their field of interest.
