About Quinn Schuster

Quinn Schuster is a lighting designer based in Los Angeles, CA. Having earned his MFA in theatrical lighting from the University of Illinois, he has worked in every aspect of lighting design and technology from touring Broadway musicals, to storefront community theatre, to summer stock opera, to rock and roll touring concerts, to commercial and residential architectural installations. Notably, Schuster worked as resident designer for both House of Blues San Diego and Observatory North Park concert venues in San Diego, CA. Recent design credits include By the Bog of Cats Fullerton College and City of Angels at the Virginia Theatre Champaign, IL. Quinn has always sought expression through storytelling and artistic excellence. He enjoys being a legislative advocate for educational theatre programs and organized labor, as well as being a member of the technical theatre community, overall. Quinn appreciates the legacy and heritage in what we do, and seeks to continue the traditions of technical theatre history.
