About Quinton Skinner

Quinton Skinner has spent the last 25 years as a communications specialist, tactician, and writer and editor of wide-ranging material including long-form journalism, digital writing, corporate narratives, fiction and nonfiction, magazine articles and branded communications with an extensive background in consulting and strategic ideation. He has worked in leadership positions in commercial publishing as well as large-scale nonprofit communications, and specializes in digitally centered creative direction and editorial strategy. He is the co-founder of Logosphere, a content-creation agency that crafts vivid narratives and identities for impactful companies, organizations and their leaders. Logosphere clients include corporations, nonprofits, startups, tech and healthcare businesses, individuals and creative agencies. Logosphere produces tailored narratives such as white papers, web and social media copy, speeches and op-eds, case studies and strategic positioning focused on truth, connection, integrity and finding the signal through the noise. Quinton has held the title of Senior Editor at Minnesota Monthly as well as Twin Cities METRO magazine. He is the former Director of Communications at the Guthrie Theater, where he headed up media relations, publications, and was central to social media strategy. His novels include Odd One Out (Prospect Park, 2017), 14 Degrees Below Zero (Random House) and Amnesia Nights (Random House/Wilhelm Heyne Verlag); his nonfiction books include Do I Look Like a Daddy to You?(Bantam Doubleday Dell). HIs science-fiction novel Project Chrysalis was released by Permuted Press in 2023. Quinton has authored articles in Glamour, Variety, American Theatre, Delta Sky, Experience Life, Minnesota Monthly, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Twin Cities METRO Magazine, Huffington Post, Literary Hub, Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, Minnesota Parent and Speakeasy. He authored more than 250 reviews and features on Twin Cities theatre in City Pages, and was the Twin Cities correspondent for Variety, for reviews and features. He has taught several writing classes at the Loft Literary Center.
