About Quinton Washington

As a graduate and former student-athlete from the University of Michigan, I am confident in my ability to excel in the workforce and beyond. As both a member of the football team and full-time student at Michigan, I was able to fortify my organizational and time management skills. My experience as a student-athlete allowed me to develop a strong work ethic, in regards to both group and individual settings. Upon graduating from Michigan, I have been able to prove myself time and again in the workforce. From working as a package handler for FedEx to working on the Pit Crew for Penske Racing, I have made sure to exude the same amount of pride and confidence no matter the job. I have been part of the Penske Racing family for four years. In 2018, was apart of the winning of the Indy 500. When I'm not traveling during the racing season, I work in the shop as a carbon fiber fabricator. I'm a fast learner and able to complete every task I'm given. On the track I have been apart of having some of the fastest times in IndyCar Racing, with a four second pit stop under our belt. I have learned how to utilize the resources available to me for the benefit of others, as well as myself. I am a hard worker and self-starter. I am very passionate about working with the homeless population, American muscle cars and sports. “You have to dream as if you never seen obstacles”.
