About Quyen Phan

I am a fun, loving, energetic individual who is organized, hard working, dependable and loyal. I pay close attention to details to help determine all possible solutions. I do my best to meet objectives and goals, in a timely, efficient and effective manner. I am extremely passionate, fun, caring and intentional, which helps me become a better team member and leader. I have gained experience and knowledge inside and outside the classroom. I have developed and implemented more standardized processes and procedures for Student Information Systems, Alternative Learning and Curriculum Development. Some focuses include building and maintaining a more effective and efficient "Master Scheduling" structure for all MPS K-12 schools to align with the Minnesota Common Course Catalog and develop stronger Alternative Learning programs in MPS. Accomplishments included the five highest graduation rates for Alternative programming over three years (2015-2018) and the largest credit recovery programs (Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer School) in Minnesota. My current position utilizes my past professional and educational experiences to support all levels of staff, students, community stakeholders and administration team. I am enthusiastic about my future in education and look forward to expanding my career. I believe we can cultivate the next Albert Einstein, Maya Angelo or Bill Gates. We make the impossible possible.
