About Rabekah Arroyo

I have over five years of experience working with children and teens. I have previously volunteered in an early childhood special education classroom and worked as a special education teacher's aide. I worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows as a program aide and I interned for a nonprofit organization that aims to help at-risk youth and teens in the Reno community called Mindful Health Initiative. After I graduated, I relocated to California were I was a physical education assistant for Upland Unified School District. I then got my substitute license and have been subbing for Upland and Bonita Unified School Districts since January 2021. I graduated in May 2019 from the University of Nevada, Reno with my Bachelor of Science in Community Health Science. I'm currently in my Multiple Subject Credential Program at California State University San Bernardino and will be finished in fall of 2021. I'm known to be a hard worker and have a good rapport with my coworkers. I also have plenty of leadership experience as I have held numerous leadership positions in college extracurriculars. I hope to make a difference in every child's life that I work with and will strive to help as many students as I possibly can.
