As a Senior Associate at Cavell Leitch, I provide legal advice and representation to clients on migration and humanitarian matters in New Zealand. I have over 12 years of combined experience in immigration law, working as a Migration Solicitor in Australia and as an Immigration Officer in New Zealand. I have a strong background in appeals & litigation, analytical skills, legal research and problem-solving analysis, which enables me to deliver effective and efficient solutions to complex and sensitive cases. I am passionate about social justice, human rights, family violence, and refugee and asylum seeker issues that exist in contemporary New Zealand and Australia. My goal is to build a career in the immigration law field, and to facilitate access to justice and legal solutions for the community in general. I am also committed to continuous learning and professional development, and I hold multiple certifications and memberships in relevant law societies and committees. I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and I have a keen interest in cross-cultural communication and diversity.
