About Rachael Berggren

With over five years of diverse experience in non-profit grant writing, media production, and project management, I am dedicated to leveraging my skills in film production, design, and fundraising to create impactful donor communications and grant opportunities both with my organization and consult partners. I am a Development Assistant at Camptown, where I support the Development Director in stewarding individual giving and strengthening donor relationships through the Development & Marketing Plan. My responsibilities include donor relations, managing our annual donor program, creating video, graphic, & written content for external use, and assisting in: planning and executing engagement events, writing and insuring compliance for awarded grants and sponsorships, and statistic data entry and utilization. I previously served as the Grants & IT Manager at the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, where I managed the curation of media materials, executed event logistics, and developed & implemented grants for a range of initiatives. My work includes updating digital content, collaborating with board members and partners, and generating data-driven reports to support program development. I hold a degree in Film Production from Huntington University, complemented by minors in History and Museum Studies, and a TESOL certification. I have contributed to over 10 major film projects in various roles including Director of Photography, Producer, and Editor, earning recognition with over 15 festival awards.
