This comes from my work in film, television and commercials, both in front of and behind the camera. My time working in talent agencies is truly where I discovered my love for connecting others with opportunities that change their lives for the better. My talent agency experience has transitioned well into recruiting. I have a background in high volume recruiting, and specialized high-level placements. My special interests in recruiting are credit unions, non-profit organizations and healthcare. Additionally I have teaching background from over 10 years at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where I taught communication skills, primarily the Master Interview Rating Scale (MIRS) to every speciality and field of medicine, from PAs, DNPs, MD’s including students, residents and practicing physicians. This included students of EVMS and beyond-the hundreds of clients that benefited from the professional skills center. Additionally provided extensive hours of training to third year medical students in METI motivational interview techniques, measuring patients trustworthiness in medical expertise specifically to family medicine. Participated in QA for METI. Facilitated Patient Satisfaction workshops for Sentara and gave presentations to prospective students for the admissions department.
