About Rachel Ashbrook

The difference between winning and losing is often not quitting."Anyone who knows me will tell you how ultra competitive I am. Think you can beat me at Mario Kart? I doubt it. I have a certificate proving that I am the Ultimate Star Wars Trivia Master. I even compete against myself, my yearly Goodreads reading challenge is set super high (ok, maybe a little too high). I've never met a challenge I don't like. My career experience began by providing litigation support for a Fortune Top 20 company. That ballooned into performing federal and state government work conducting Freedom of Information Act support to DHS ICE, DHS USCIS, The New York and New Jersey Transit Authority and FDA CDRH. During my time at a government agency I created a downtime tracking tool for a client project which saved the contract upwards of 5 weeks of work time and hundreds of thousands of dollars. As I matured and grew, so did my professional goals. I discovered that I had a real knack for Project Management. I enjoy fostering team environments and helping people to discover their strengths, even if that strength lies down a completely unexpected path. I've led projects for over 4 years and have managed teams of 40+ people. I recently completed the PMP and ICAgile certifications and I hope to continue to challenge myself and my teams to tackle challenges head on and continue to deliver fantastic client work and results.
