About Rachel Brice

With over 14 years of nursing experience and 9 years in hospice and palliative care management, I am a passionate and dedicated clinical manager who strives to provide compassionate and quality care for patients and their families. I am currently working on my Master of Science degree in Nursing, and I am certified in BLS CHPN. I am currently working as a clinical manager at the Roper Hospice, where I oversee the operations and staff of the home and inpatient hospice programs. I am committed to the mission and vision of the organization, and I value teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning. In my current role, I direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the hospice program. I am involved in strategic planning, marketing, and business development of the hospice program. Responsible for establishing policy and procedure and standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations, ensuring survey readiness. I promote patient satisfaction, quality clinical outcomes and the mission and philosophy of the organization. Coordinate with other homecare departments, hospital facilities and physician practices to ensure continuity of care. Ensuring that the hospice program meets all regulatory standards for licensure and accreditation while maintaining staffing levels for optimal business operations. As a leader, I am actively involved in fundraising, community outreach, and financial aspects of the hospice program. Coordinate and develop the hospice program in conjunction with the service line director and the hospice medical director.
