About Rachel Buggle

Director within BlackRock's EMEA tax group, I deliver expert tax advice and support to the firm's diverse client base and product platforms. Leading support for our UK product platform and oversight of European investor tax reporting requirements across the EMEA product platform, my role covers the management of tax compliance, ensuring efficiency across the product platforms, oversight of service providers, supporting product launches and advising the client business on investor tax implications. Recent notable achievements include shaping the UK CCO policy, streamlining tax reporting processes through automation and strengthening governance and control frameworks, advising on the development of Long-Term Asset Funds and streamlining tax reporting on tax transparent funds. I have a dual degree in European business from Neoma Business School (Reims) and Dublin City University, with over 15 years of experience in financial services and the asset management industry, I have a deep understanding of the role of financial markets and my career has spanned audit, accounting, advisory and tax. Prior to joining BlackRock, I worked in PwC's AWM team in London, leading the UK offshore fund reporting team and assisting with global distribution and tax advisory matters. Prior to that I worked in PwCs audit of investment funds team in Luxembourg and transferred to their international tax department in 2011 working on European regulatory and tax reporting regimes.
