About Rachel Dicker

I approach product strategy through the lens of the customers’ needs. I build relationships with them in order to identify their challenges and these findings become the foundation upon which I build new product opportunities. The hardest part for an organization is to break out of the routine and figure out the questions that unlock customers’ pain points and build a business case that works for them and my company, even if (or especially because!) it is disruptive. Together with Scott Beebe and Malka Hirsch, we built a new and innovative Evidence-Based Practice application called Ovid Synthesis, to drive efficiencies and better patient outcomes. I created the necessary relationships to assess the market, conducted the initial discovery research, launched the Leadership meeting, a unique peer to peer monthly session where users share their use cases, plans and lessons learned and created the thought leadership strategy. This is meaningful work and I get to work with a great team. This excites me!
