Background

About Rachel Eddy

I am a professional, personable, and capable student from Griffith University undertaking a business degree specialising in Accounting and Finance. Upon completion of my studies, I look to pursue a career that will continue to challenge my perspectives and provide an opportunity for ongoing learning opportunities to enhance my skillset. I look to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy and work towards finding a career that challenges me and allows me to flourish in my new corporate setting. I was entwined in high-performance sporting environments during my formative years, which has fuelled my goal-driven motivational habits and high-achieving behaviours. Formally a national level swimmer and Australian Lifesaving representative, I have decided to transition my goal-driven nature into the corporate world. I see myself as someone who can effectively collaborate in group settings but is also capable of working autonomously to meet deadlines. I value the contribution I can make to my community and am involved in community initiatives, annually giving 40hr of voluntary lifesaver experiences and looking for new opportunities to serve the greater community.
