About Rachel Goode

I have worked in the mortgage industry for about 10 years. Specializing in numerous areas of the company ranging from client service, insurance needs, and underwriting. I am currently an Appraisal Management Specialist, communicating with appraisal companies to complete each individual appraisal report. I have carried my knowledge of client communication, insurance, and purchase underwriting over to my current position to successfully conduct each report for a smooth mortgage process. I hold immense value in the teams that I have had the pleasure of working with over the last 10 years. I have learned so much from each team member I have encountered, and continue to reflect on those experiences in each new opportunity. Each team I have worked with has opened doors and insight that I use to this day to propel me forward in my career. While working a full time career with my current company and attending Grand Circus after hours program, I have held several valuable part time careers. My part time work includes physical/stretch therapy, and manicure/nail artist. Since the pandemic this work has slowed down, and is now limited to working out of my home. I still carry on these careers with the clients I have and love the joy my passions bring to other people. At this time I am attending the Grand Circus boot camp for Full Stack C#.Net software development to expand my knowledge of software programming. I have been interested in backend web development for years, as I feel it is a unique way to express creativity while designing experiences people utilize every day. I am absorbing as much developer knowledge as possible that may lead to career opportunities that value my experience in the field as well as my creativity. I aspire to exercise the creative and artistic side of software development, and hope to share the value of creative expression through software development with everyone.
