About Rachel Hanson

Rachel graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in social work. Rachel directly went into community mental health working with at-risk youth providing family behavioral therapy. Rachel served in a leadership role providing individual and group clinical supervision over seeing in-home therapist. Currently Rachel is the Project Manager for a maternal health and infant/early childhood mental health grant. Prior to being the Project Manager, Rachel was an in-home therapist specializing in perinatal mood disorders, CBT, and TFCBT. Rachel has a large focus for collective impact in the community in order to address gaps and disparities that impact families and community members. Rachel has served on TN-PSI state board along with many other state wide and national action teams in order to address those gaps and disparities. Rachel is endorsed IMH-E and a Reflective Supervisor. She is adjunct faculty for Columbia State Community College and has taught Introduction to Psychology as well as Lifespan Development.
