About Rachel Lees

I graduated from Hofstra University in Spring 2022, with a Bachelor in Science for Biology with a minor in Biochemistry, and a concentration in Pre-Medical Studies. I am currently a Physician Assistant Student at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester NH. In the summer of 2019, I shadowed a Physician Assistant (PA-C) at New England Orthopedic Specialists in Peabody and Danvers Massachusetts. Throughout the 91+ hours of shadowing, I became familiar with ways to interact and approach patients, read x-rays, take medical notes, and diagnose as well as treat patients. Shadowing was an extremely valuable experience but I am looking for additional experiences potentially outside of the orthopedic field. In the summer of 2021, I was fortunate enough to be able to shadow Dr. David Greenstein, other physicians, and physician assistants in the practice. I completed the Certified Dermatology Technician and trained as a medical assistant at Northeast Dermatology. While at Northeast Dermatology I was able to gain experience in an alternate setting by leading a clinical research study for a new laser device focused on both wrinkles and acne.
