About Rachel Link

Over the past three years, I've worked for INK inc. PR as a Director of Media. While my primary focus is researching targeted media outlets that will highlight each INK client, my responsibilities have expanded into revamping INK's pricing model, trade show and event research, and overseeing INK's digital marketing, social media, and website development. Prior to my current position, I worked for Littler as a Regional Marketing Coordinator. During this time, I have established strong relationships with attorneys to provide marketing and business development support and external organizations for sponsorship opportunities, provided research assistance in pursuit of prospective companies, and organized and executed internal and external live and virtual events within budget while tracking and analyzing for ROI. Before my position at Littler, I worked for Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. as an International Public Relations Specialist. Great Plains Laboratory, Inc. offers extensive metabolic, nutritional and mitochondrial testing to healthcare providers and patients globally. During this time, I maintained current accounts, established strong relationships with clients, represented the company at international events, and organized and executed training seminars internationally. Prior to working at Great Plains Laboratory, Inc, I worked as an Account Manager at The Concept Works, Inc. for approximately four years. The Concept Works, Inc. specializes in media relations, government relations and growing businesses in their industry. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with others and hearing about their passions and why they love their jobs. Throughout my time at The Concept Works, Inc, I was asked to join the Iowa State Legislature as a Legislative Liaison. During the legislative session (January-May), I balanced both jobs for three years. It is truly inspiring to learn and understand how not only both the House and the Senate come together to keep our state safe, but also both sides of the aisle. Outside of the office I enjoy getting together with old friends, family road trips, binge watching Netflix shows, and rescuing stray kittens.
