Background
About Rachel Lipson
My interests include human and population genetics, evolutionary biology, immunology, oncology, and endocrinology. I aspire to help people understand their own genetics and make more informed healthcare decisions. My experiences have involved a mix of research, clinical, and administrative duties. While genetics is my main area of focus, I have also completed a minor in Northeastern University’s music industry program during my undergraduate studies, and I have held positions in that field as well. I have a strong love for music and play six instruments in addition to singing, and the music business has always fascinated me. Additionally, I am a trained aerial yoga instructor, and I strive to carry the mindfulness and joy gained through my own practice into other areas of my professional and personal life. My ultimate goal is to be able to combine my passions into a career that will allow me to do what I love while making a significant contribution to the world.
