About Rachel McClaine

I am a fourth year student in the clinical psychology PhD student at Case Western Reserve University on the child and family track. Currently, my research focuses on developmental trajectories of family factors and youth mental health, with a specific focus on the impact of neighborhood and school factors on family functioning and families’ response to intervention. I have a strong background in quantitative analysis, and I am interested in the use of sophisticated structural equation modeling to deepen our understanding of the complex interactions between children and their environments. In addition to my research work, I am passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based intervention and assessment to children and families. With background in various treatment techniques, including CBT, TF-CBT, PCIT, PMT, and play therapy, I hope to provide strengths-based care to children of all ages.
