About Rachel Pollack

With over nine years of experience in education, I am a passionate and dedicated leader who strives to provide quality instruction and support for all students. My mission is to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional well-being, academic achievement, and personal growth. As the Interim Principal at Oxford Community Schools, I leverage my EdD in Educational Leadership and my expertise in curriculum and instruction to oversee the daily operations and strategic vision of the school. In addition to my administrative role, I also serve as the Social Emotional Learning Coordinator for the summer program, where I coordinate and supervise SEL and relationship-building activities for students and staff. I also provide leadership and guidance to SEL facilitators and students, and liaison to parent and community groups. As a former Special Education Teacher and District IEP coach, I have extensive experience in creating and implementing individualized education plans, administering assessments, and providing support for diverse at-risk populations. I am a master of differentiation and creative teaching strategies, and I have established school-wide behavior modification and token economy systems.
