About Rachel Quinn

Hi, I’m Rachel — a canine behavior specialist, service dog trainer, and small business owner with over 13 years of hands-on experience turning passion into measurable results. What I do – Train and rehabilitate dogs: from psychiatric service dog task work to competitive obedience and scentwork champion titles – Run high-volume facilities: led teams of 20+ at multi-service kennels, creating SOPs that improved safety and client satisfaction – Build programs and people: designed community workshops, mentored junior trainers, and partnered with shelters to identify service dog prospects – Operate an e-commerce brand: founded Apollo of the Stars, handling design, supply chain, and 5-star customer care for premium pet gear Why it matters – My focus is the intersection of dog behavior, human well-being, and clear communication. Whether pairing a veteran with a life-changing partner or coaching a reactive dog toward confidence, I translate science-based methods into practical, empathetic action. What sets me apart – Adaptability: military-family life means I master new markets quickly and keep teams moving forward — no matter the ZIP code – Data-driven empathy: I track outcomes, not just anecdotes, while keeping compassion at the core – Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable balancing budgets, brand voice, and boots-on-the-ground work Let’s connect – I’m open to senior training, behavior consulting, and program-development roles — onsite in San Antonio or remote. If your mission involves improving lives through dogs, let’s talk.(Dog sport judge, IAABC member, and perpetual learner — currently prepping for CBCC-KA certification.)
