About Rachel Rigetta

I’m a senior at Florida State University majoring in Risk Management and Insurance, passionate about the insurance industry and understanding how businesses manage risk. This past spring, I earned my University Associate Certified Insurance Counselor (UACIC) certification, and I’ve held my 4-40 Customer Representative License since 2022. This summer, I interned with Federated Insurance, conducting business walkthroughs to identify fire and safety risks, providing customized recommendations, and presenting my findings to the company’s vice president—an amazing learning experience. Before that, I worked at my family’s agency as an Insurance Sales Agent, where I exceeded sales targets and collaborated with underwriters to secure great coverage options. On campus, I serve as the Involvement Coordinator for Gamma Iota Sigma, leading recruitment and organizing events to keep our chapter active. I also stay involved in the industry by attending events like RIMS RiskWorld. And of course, I’m a huge FSU football fan—go Noles!
