About Rachel Sim

It was a long, winding path that involved a detour in a career as an information professional, but I came full circle to my dream job: making cool sounds for video games, working alongside a team of amazing and incredibly talented people! How did I get to this point? Well, a long time ago, I dreamed of becoming a storyteller, both through words and through music. I ended up deviating from this path, however, and the flights of fancy from my childhood became but a distant memory. But then I decided to bulldoze my way into the career that I love. One long year later, I graduated from the Sound Design for Visual Media program at Vancouver Film School (VFS). And now, years after that, I'm a producer at A Shell in the Pit (while still doing some sound design, when time permits!).
