About Rachel Simones

With 10+ years of experience in government and corporate communications, I bring a strategic and collaborative approach to the team. In my current role as a Manager, Communications Business Partner, I provide internal and external communications support for our key BioPharma Solutions and Strategic Sourcing business at Cardinal Health. I am passionate about leveraging technology to improve communications practices and enhance operational efficiencies. I have a strong background in web content writing, editing, and publishing, as well as photography and videography. I have written, edited, and published news and feature stories for the Ohio Air National Guard, where I served as a public affairs professional for eight years. In this role, I also developed strategic communications plans, briefed senior military leaders, managed social media, tracked metrics, and researched industry trends. Additionally, I trained and led Airmen to develop their technical and professional skills. I graduated with honors from Miami University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. My mission is to deliver impactful communications that inform, engage, and inspire audiences.
