About Rachel Small

I am a recent graduate with a Master of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University, where I concentrated in Applied Microeconomics. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics from Temple University, along with a Minor in French. I have experience with both sides of the research process—thoroughly studying existing economic literature and working directly with data for empirical analysis, using tools such as Stata, R, and C++. I've studied a range of economic topics, ranging from the macro to the micro level, and have taken courses focused on econometrics, advanced statistics, public finance, and labor economics. I also have an extensive background in mathematics with experience in multivariable calculus, probability, linear algebra, and number theory. My mathematical background has greatly contributed to my problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of economic theory.
