About Rachel Stuart
I am currently a 3rd-year physical therapy student at Samford University. I will be graduating May 4th, 2018 and taking the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) in July. I graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Pre-Physical Therapy Degree. At AUM, I was a student-athlete (Softball and Cross-Country) and received various academic and athletic honors. I also accepted graduate assistantship positions in the sport management department and for the university's softball team after completing my bachelor's degree. I plan to finish earning my Master of Sport Management Degree once I complete the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Samford. I have completed multiple internships and observation hours in various settings in the field of physical therapy (detailed below). I have also been working and gaining experience in adaptive sport and recreation at Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham, AL since June of 2016.
