About Rachel Vari

For more than seven years, I pursued an education in health-related topics, and I completed my Master of Health Administration in August of 2018. My interest in this field was sparked by a passion to improve healthcare outcomes, so patients and family members can feel confident they are receiving the best possible care. This has been a highly personal journey that began when I sat in the hospital with my grandfather, who was receiving subpar healthcare from inattentive nurses. As my mom and I felt uneasy leaving him alone for the night in the hospital, I thought to myself,"The quality and value of healthcare should not only be medically necessary and effective, but the staff should always be attentive and friendly, with firm conviction rooted in the good work they do." I believe I can make a difference in patients’ and family members’ experiences through empathy, innovation, and attention to detail. I’m interested in both the business aspect and the human aspect of healthcare administration, and I will continue to strive to make positive change. In my previous administrative role, I’ve already saved the organization $20K by discovering a clerical error. Additionally, I’ve proven a dedication to high-quality, attentive customer service.
