A campaigns, communication and partnerships professional with more than 12 years of experience in managing the strategy and delivery of various events and social movements for a diverse set of thematic areas. My experience has equipped me with critical external engagement skills including the ability to conceptualise, plan, implement and monitor globally synchronised campaigns that tell a story to engage the public, build brand goodwill and inspire action. I am guided by a quote and belief, “If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is - Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern”. On a daily basis, I strive to change public understanding, participation and behaviour. Through my work with leading organisations like The Wikimedia Foundation, Save the Children, Médecins Sans Frontières and Action/2015; I have led and delivered digital/on-ground campaign strategies, targeted communication initiatives, organisational strategy and built brand guidelines. I have successfully lifted organisational brand and confidence by fostering partnerships, funding micro initiatives and facilitating a collective movement that brings together people power for building pressure to change. My experience of working on global events like the Commonwealth Games, the Arab Games (Doha), and various international sporting leagues has given me a deep understanding of overseeing ground level operations, logistics and managing complex deliverables of live events. I work with a delivery focussed attitude and am driven to leave behind a world that is better than the one I inherited.
