I take “thinking outside the box” as performance necessity. There is no role other than Logistics that give you that flexibly to create and implement new idea, introduce new process, and create new programs. Holt Renfrew is the best place to be to put your idea in action within that corporate boundary Almost 15 years working at Holt, I am not bored yet. Started as a shipper & Receiver in 2006, promoted to Supervisor Logistics in 2009, and Logistics Manager in 2010. The dynamic of my department, the continuous changes we have to implement and adapt to, the amazing cross functional team at Holt, keep me alert and engaged Over the years, had opportunities to initiate and implement many back of the house operational optimization, process streamlining, and implementing many training programs for the store I work at and contributed to the eventual national role out, I am proud of my one year and half gig at the head office to help with SAP development and implementation. As the only SME (Subject Matter expert) for store Operations, it was a monumental task to map the current process of the system of the record as a blue print for SAP building for stores. Working with people across the business groups with the objective to build and role out a totally new system of record, and doing so flawlessly with minimum business interruption, was humbling and exciting at the same time. Then, the successful implementation of the system was extremely satisfying. Over the year at Holt, I received opportunities to connect with team across the organization to get the job DONE. This note from a colleague of mine sums up my role: Is there anything you can't do? Thank you so much for helping us sort out a very important sku that had an issue across all doors. You help escalate it to the appropriate parties and stopped at nothing in order to help us get it resolved. You connected with many different people across different roles and departments in order to make it a priority. I thank you for being a great leader, partner and friend. You prevented what could have been a huge customer service issue. You represent all HR values and we value YOU.
