About Rae Avramenko

My creative interests began in elementary school, which eventually put me on a path to studying the design fundamentals at the University of Northern Colorado for two years. Seeking the creative hubs in the West coast, I began studying graphic design and advertising in Los Angeles at OTIS College of Art and Design, where I discovered the joys of print and poster design, the art of good presentation, and studied in-depth the “ideal” relationship between a creative and client. I joined the Avalara team shortly after the start of the pandemic in the summer of 2020 and their goal to be the cloud compliance platform “that is part of every transaction in the world.” I am an experienced creator with a demonstrated education of the graphic design and advertising industries. I am skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, app + web + book design, branding design, producing mockups, and the unending iterative process.
