About Rae Downing

People matter. Having a background in history and having worked over 20 years in customer service and sales, it has always been very clear to me that people matter most. Whether dealing with customers or working closely with colleagues, the best results come from being able to get the best out of people. Customer loyalty and brand recognition work and are dependent upon how each person feels about dealing with a particular company. I treat customers like people, like they matter, because they do; they are the reason we’re in business. Employee performance is undoubtedly linked to relationships in the workplace. I try to cultivate a sense of inclusiveness but identify each person’s strengths so that each member brings something important to the team. Helping someone grow and focusing of the positive is rewarding for everyone. A happy customer will keep coming back and a happy employee is more motivated; people matter because we’re all in this together.
