I am a trans/non-binary creative professional (they/he), passionate about live-action and animation production for both television and film as well as popular culture media and trends and comics. I am an editor and localization professional and I speak both English and Japanese. Before becoming an editor, I have interned in both America and Japan in film and animation production. I am currently employed at Viz Media as an editor for Weekly Shonen Jump. I edit both graphic novel titles (including non-SJ titles like Persona 5) and Weekly Shonen Jump titles. I've created training materials and materials for existing editors to use for Indesign and Photoshop to help with the editorial process, specially with serializations to help with the fast-paced environment. I've also created new processes to help make our fast-pace work easier for editors and help with communicating more effectively with freelancers. I've worked on around 45 titles and over 250 books both digital and print. I have an extensive skillset in photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator to make a lot of my serialization edits myself and used those skills to create the training materials and guides for both existing editors and new letterers to serializations.
